Why start the Pasta Prince? 

For the same reason I learnt how to cook in the first place: To eat well and explore my cultures history and traditions. 

Growing up in Italy I took the food I ate for granted. It was only when I moved abroad that I realised how important the food I grew up with was to me. I started teaching myself how to make fresh pasta and over time my passion grew to an obsession!

Pasta making as a meditative process

Aside from being delicious, making fresh pasta can have many benefits for your mental health. It is a chance to escape and take some time off. The repetitive shaping allows you to tap into your subconscious and clear your thoughts. This meditative process is wonderful for clearing stress, and at the end of it you have a plate of pasta! What could be better?

Pasta making to socialise and build relationships

By making fresh pasta with friends and family we take part in an act that is sacred in Italy: sitting around the kitchen table.

It's an opportunity to catch up, communicate and learn.


Orchestrating these moments of union and sharing my knowledge of vegan recipes is what started The Pasta Prince. My goal is to dispel the myths that fresh pasta is either difficult or inaccessible. It starts with trying and absolutely everyone can learn!
